Costin Tuculescu, CEO & Founder
Costin Tuculescu is the founder and CEO of AnyMeeting and a 12-year veteran of the
web conferencing industry. Costin has a BS in Computer Science from UC Irvine and
is an avid technologist and software engineer. In 2009, Costin identified an opportunity
in the web conferencing industry to apply an ad-supported business model to deliver
a free web conferencing and webinar service -- something no other provider had done.
AnyMeeting was created as a full-function alternative to paid services, with features
like video conferencing, audio conferencing, screen sharing, webinar scheduling
and more, completely for free. Since then, AnyMeeting has introduced ad-free plans
and focused squarely on the needs of small business. With a product specifically
designed and priced for small business, AnyMeeting has become a leader in small
business web conferencing and now serves hundreds of thousands or meeting hosts
from the small business community. In his spare time, Costin enjoys playing music

David Gerken, COO & VP of Business Development
David Gerken brings over 20 years of strategy and early-stage business development
experience. Previously, David was the founder and CEO of BuzzDash, a leading social
polling forum acquired by the Tribune Company, where he secured distribution and
content partnerships with several major media properties.
Prior to that, David served
as vice president of business development for Net Effect Systems, which was later
acquired by Ask Jeeves, and then as COO of Ask Jeeves’ operations in the UK & Ireland.
David began his business career as a strategy consultant with Price Waterhouse serving
large clients in the entertainment & media industries.
David holds a B.S. and M.S.
degree in engineering from the University of Michigan and Caltech, respectively,
and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
Eli Burpee, Engineering Director
Eli has more than 14 years as a software development professional working with a
variety of organization from startups to Fortune 500 companies. At AnyMeeting, Eli
is focused on continuous product improvement, new feature deployments, resource
management, and software quality. He manages an experienced team of in-house developers
as well as key vendors and partners. His expertise spans software development methodologies,
database management, enterprise-class security and code quality – all essential
to building and maintaining AnyMeeting's robust and scalable platform.
AnyMeeting, Eli was a lead developer and consultant to numerous startups and growth
stage firms including Chase Credit Systems, QsLabs, Earthbound Media Group and two
firms acquired by Compuware. Eli began his career at Georgia Pacific in Atlanta
after graduating from Georgia State University with a degree in Computer Science.
Eli is a Microsoft Certified Professional and lives with his wife and young son
in Orange County, California.
Barry Friedman, Product Management Director
Barry has over 20 years of Internet and telecommunications experience.
Most recently, Barry was the Principal Product Line Manager for the
Citrix GoToMeeting product line. His responsibilities included implementing
end-to-end product strategies and acting as the product owner for multiple
development teams. While at Citrix, Barry launched the global version of
GoToMeeting as well as the mobile and web versions of the product.
In addition, he attended the Design Thinking Bootcamp at Stanford University,
and he is a strong proponent of understanding and empathizing with the customer.
Barry began his career in product management at MCI where he was the product
manager for their Terrestrial Digital Data Service. He later served as Director
of Product Management at Worldcom before joining EarthLink as the Director of
Strategic Planning for Business Services. There Barry led the product management
team and held several director level product positions in their Consumer,
Business, and Voice divisions.
Barry holds a degree in Business Administration from California State University
Northridge, and lives in West Hills with his wife Kathy and Dusty the dog.
Christine Henderson, Customer Service Director
Christine (aka "Chris") is an experienced customer service professional with over
15 years in the Internet and video game technology industry working with both startups
and large-scale operations. Chris is dedicated to building customer loyalty and
innovating customer service operations and contact channels in order to maximize
customer satisfaction and drive revenue.
Prior to AnyMeeting, Chris spent two years
with GameFly and nine years at IGN (a division of Fox News Corp.), where she led
the integration and enhancement efforts of the customer service operations, built
11 support sites, and managed a team that provided exceptional service to global
customers across the IGN Network. Emphasizing the customer as "King", her team demonstrated
a response time of less than two hours and achieved an online rating of five out
of five stars.
