Although most electric vehicle charging is conveniently done overnight at home, many electric car users and owners rely on public charging. This means access to public chargers, particularly equitable access, is key to EV adoption and has significant social and environmental benefits.
Our speakers will highlight projects focused on creating a roadmap to achieving equitable clean transportation through access to charging stations. We will highlight the needs analysis conducted by the Oregon Department of Transportation to identify the charging needs and gaps across Oregon. We will discuss projects and programs bringing access to charging infrastructure internationally.
